I heard there was a pettion in support of the carnival --- any details available???

The best thing you could do would be to turn up when an event like this is held, the bigger the success the more likely the event is to return.
Spoksman for the forum has said, though everyone involved in Kingstanding 2006 and the community response was fantastic, there will not be a carnival in 2007 due to organisational costs and time available. However the forum is hoping to have a carnival style event day in its place in 2007 to be held at a suitable venue such as the island on Warren Farm road.
